The source gives three explanatory licence categories. Confirm the actual notice for each dataset, vocabulary or software component; no single licence applies to this catalogue.
Where an owner explicitly applies CC BY 4.0, sharing and adaptation may be permitted, including commercial use, with required credit and an indication of changes. The source associates this category with selected aggregates and reference material; that example does not establish the licence of any Heritage record.
Controlled surveillance, clinical or outbreak resources may require a project-specific agreement. Approved purposes, ethics review, re-identification restrictions, publication review, attribution and any archiving rights must come from that actual agreement.
Software may use Apache 2.0 where its repository says so. Follow its licence, notice and change-documentation requirements. Preserve separate licences of dependencies and vocabulary constituents.
Proper attribution helps acknowledge the consortium's work and ensures compliance with funding requirements.
Conditional templates. Use the academic and policy templates from Heritage Alliance Ltd, and eventually if required from funding sources disclaimer. Confirm the record’s evidence and preserve additional owner and licence notices. These examples do not assign funding to other datasets.
